My New Year Resolution

We are becoming older year by year. But my heart is not ready to accept it because it insists on being the same. When I look my face in the mirror, the mirror doesn´t agree with my heart. In the end, I have to admit it. So, this New Year also adds one more in my age and shortens one more of the length of my life. As we know time is not the same for everybody. In 2016, some might have achieved something, on the other hand, some might have not met their expectations. Similarly, we have lost many people whereas many babies are welcomed to fulfill that space. It´s life and the process goes on like the sun rises after it sets. In 2016, we have seen so many ebbs and flows around the globe. There were terrorist attacks in different parts of the Europe. In the same way, Syrian civil war has cost thousands of People lives. In some parts of Africa, People are still dying of hunger and thirst. So, in 2017, I want a prosperous and peaceful world where people can live without all th

In Danger The Identity of The Indigenous People

Everybody loves their own ethnicity, culture and language. So do I. I am Rai which is one of Kirat communities and my religion is Kirati.  I feel so proud when I read the history of the Kirat dynasty. There were 32 Kings in Kirat dynasty who had ruled the country for around 1225 years from pre-historic to historic period. Whereas, if we make the count of Shah dynasty, there were only 13 kings adding Dipendra and Gyanendra who ruled very short time in our country. The Kirat people include Rai, Limbu, Sunuwar and Yakkha.  Each of them has their different culture, language and attires. They are also indigenous tribes of Nepal.  Among them, I belong to Rai ethnicity. In Rai, there are 32 subdivisions and 28 languages. My division is Chamling. I have different language from others. But it´s very sad to say that I don´t know much about my language. Likewise, all the languages of indigenous people are in danger of disappearing. The government of Nepal has been run by one tribe of pe

An Inspiring Story of Takme Buda (Wilson Bikram Rai, WBR)

Takme Budha Today, we all know who Wilson Bikram Rai aka Takme Buda is. He is one of the finest comedians and character actors in Nepal. So far, he has won many awards for different roles. Now, he is doing a Hindi movie with the Bollywood A -listed heroine Ayesha Takiya who has already done a movie named Wanted opposite Salman Khan. With Ayesha Takiya The journey for Takme Buda to this level was not easy. He belongs to a very simple family. His father used to be a driver. So, the family used to be run by the earning of driving. In early days, Takme Buda used to do mimicries of different actors especially Nir Shah. His friends used to praise him for his acting talents. Having noticed these all, he came to Kathmandu to pursue his career. But the life in Kathmandu was not so easy for him. To earn his living he started to work in a restaurant as a dancer. Some days, he spent his whole day with a plate of momo. He said that he used to drink lots of water to reduce his hunger

Am I Racist?

Feelings For My Country

I don´t accept if anyone says to me that Nepal is a underprivileged country. We have everything from brains to natural resources. Nevertheless, we never try to utilize it. We just follow blindly what Indian says. It´s so pathetic that our government has only been run by Indian brokers since before. So, we are compelled to go foreign countries to earn our livings. Sometimes, I feel that if there is no China as our neighbor, Nepal has already been confiscated by India. Even if Nepal has gone through numerous political changes, it´s so sorry to say that it´s still in search of a true patriotic leader like Lee Kuan Yew who transformed Singapore from small town into global financial hub. My eyes were shed with tears while I was reading the news that Nepal has beaten Brunei by 3-0 in AFC solidarity cup in Malaysia. My happiness knew no bounds. I think every Nepalese felt the same. Mentioning all these I am just trying to say that how I or we love our country. Even in a small reason

An Important Message To The Lovers

Would like to request you all the boys and girls not only to follow the established and successful persons but also to support your boyfriends and girl friends whatever they are today. Give them your love and support when they are in hard times and equally enjoy their achievements. Keep motivating them because your one sweet word magnifies their energies. So, keep motivating them until they become the established and successful persons themselves. You all play the role of the catalyst for each other and enjoy your successful lives. On the other hand, if you leave them because of their failures or other simple reasons, their lives can be ruined. I have seen some people started having drugs while others stopped studying. In this way, their careers would be damaged. So, I would like to request you all to read at least once the love story between renowned football player David Beckham and very famous singer Victoria Beckham from Spice Girls. When both of them felt in love, Victoria

Superstations Towards God

Slaughtering innocent animals and eating their meats we celebrate Dashain and Tihar. Don't know we earn sin or virtue. More precisely those who celebrate Dashain. Am against the way of celebrating any kind of any festivals of any religion. So, strict animals rights should be made and implemented everywhere so that they can live their lives freely.  In the name of god and in search of virtuousness, we offer innocent animals to god. If there is god in this world like the religons has mentioned, the god loves all the creatures equally. we always say that we have the rights to live. In the same way, the same rights should be given to the animals as well. So, instead of sacrificing animals, we care them. If we care them, god becomes happy and we will be blessed.  There is only difference between animals and human being is that we can express our feelings and they can´t. So, we have been taking benifit of it. But the feelings are same. Hurting others we can´t get anythin

Authentic Patriotism is Needed

Maybe it´s better not for me to speak on the history about Nepal not having known much about it. Even if as a patriotic citizen of Nepal, I want my country to be the strongest in every way so that our government doesn´t has to spread its hands for the help to other countries. Have been hearing the uneven treaties of 1950 since my childhood. But I never tried to know what they were actually. Recently I heard the news that Pakistan threatened India mentioning India doesn´t take Pakistan like Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Hearing that news, I pondered for a while thinking why Pakistan said like that way.  I know about Bhutan which is semi autonomous country of India. But I never thought that Nepal is also like Bhutan for India. Few days later, while I was listening to the news that Nepali high level negotiation committee is in India to make a talk with Indian team about various aspects including the fluctuating treaty of 1950. And their first proposal for the meeting to In

A Beautiful Story-Love Animals

A man crying in the picture is the owner of the monkey and the duck. They've been good friends since birth. The monkey was playing around when it came into contact into a live wire on the ground and got electrocuted. The duck heard the monkey screaming and tried to help by getting the wire off from the monkey but also got electrocuted. Both of them were born best friends and died still best friends. Not many humans have this kind of value for friendship.

Happiest and Luckiest Day 3 Feb 2016

Few years back, when I was in Pokhara camp, one of the Gurujis told us that when the luck is coming, the perfect preparation meets the right opportunity. I literally assume I had all these three things with me today. So, my long time hard work and patience paid off. People used to keep exhorting me different hypothetical nonsenses but I didn´t give a damn care about their suggestions. I just followed my heart and took only worthwhile ideas which yielded a good result today. Kind of this journey would not have been possible without the help of others. So, I would like to take an opportunity to thank all the individuals whoever helped me out. God bless you all.
