My Top 30 Evegreen Favourite Songs


भनिन्छ संगीत बिनाको जिबन अधुरो हुन्छ। मलाइ पनि त्यस्तै लाग्छ। म सानै उमेर देखि गीत संगीत सुन्ने गर्थे। कक्षा ४ पढ्दा देखिनै कबिताहरु कोर्ने गर्थे। मेरो जिबन खाल्डे गाउदेखि सुरु भएर धरान हुदै युरोपसम्म आइपुग्छ। यो अबधिसम्म आइपुग्दा मैले मेरो जिबनमा धेरै आरोह अबरोहहरु भोगिसकेको छु। ठाउ र परिस्थितिहरुले काचुलि फेरेसँगै मेरो गीत संगीतको छानौटमा बिबिधता आउदो रहेछ। ऊदाहरणको लागि जब म गाउमा थिए नेपाली लोक तथा आधुनिक गीतहरु मन पराउने गर्थे। पछि धरान बसाईं सरेपछि सहरि जिबन सुरुभयो अनि म नेपाली पप, हिन्दि र अंग्रेजी गीतहरु सुन्न थाले यधपि मेरो पुरानो खुराक भने यथावतनै रहयो। पछि पढाइको शिलशिलामा युरोप आए अनि केहि नेपाली र अंग्रेजि रक गीतहरु पनि सुन्ने माहोल बन्यो। समग्रमा भन्नुपर्दा गाउदेखि शहर हुदै युरोपसम्मको यि मेरो बसाइहरुमा मेरो सबै किसिमको गीत सङीतहरु सुन्ने बानि पर्यो। त्यति मात्र नभएर मैले बिश्वको बिभिन्न देशको भाषाहरुको गीत संगीतहरु सुनेको छु र सुन्ने बानि पनि परेको छ। म आफै पनि गीतहरु लेख्ने गर्छु। मैले लेखेको एउटा गीत रेकर्ड पनि भैसकेको छ। त्यसैले आफुले आफैलाइ मुल्यांकन गर्दा म एकदमै रार्मो लिसनर जस्तो लाग्छ गीत संगीतको। त्यो मेरो जन्मस्थान खाल्डेदेखि यो मेरो युरोपसम्मको मेरो भोगाइहरुमा छनौटमा परेका र सधै मैले सुन्ने गरेको अझ भन्नुपर्दा मेरा रोजाइमा परेका सदाबहार गीतहरु संयोजन यस्तो रहेको छ।

The Kirat Dynasty

Nepal's very first recorded or discovered history began with the Kiratis, who arrived in the 7th or 8th century BCE from the east to the Kathmandu valley (now the capital of Nepal). Little is known about them, other than their deftness as sheep farmers and great fondness for carrying long knives. The Kirats ruled for about 1225 years (800 BCE-300 CE), their reign had a total of 29 kings during that time. Their first and best-remembered king was Yalambar, who is referenced in the epic Mahabharata. In the chronicle of Bansawali William Kirk Patrick mentions that the Kirat rule existed from about 900 BCE to 300 CE. During this long period altogether 29 Kirat Kings ruled over the country.
