Some Inspirational Quotes of My Father

Laxmi Prasad Rai
(2013/12/22 - 2070/10/25)

On 22th Chaitra 2013, my father was born in a beautiful village called Khalde in Yasok, Panchthar. On his naming ceremony, he was given the name as Laxmi Prasad Rai. He spent his most of his life there before he came to Dharan. He is known as a gentleman. He was appreciated by his honesty, his sweet smile and his attractive talking style. He was very kind to everyone. So, people used to respect him a lot and that continues still now. He took his last breath of his life at the age of 57 on 25th of Magh, 2070 in Dharan.

The real gods in our lives are our parents. Parents mean a lot in our lives. We respect them more than anything else. So does my life. My parents were my true source of inspiration. Whenever I remember them, immediately I become emotional. They gave us everything in our lives which we needed. We are very lucky to have parents like ours.

We don´t have our parents any more but what they taught in our lives which are still with us which are very precious for our lives and we won´t let that go. I don´t remember much about my mother because my mother left us when I was small. I do know much more about my father. He always used to say some lines to us which I try to include as his quotes. Here they go.

1. Servants are born before the fortunate person is born.
2. Prepare your answers before you face the questions with the person whom you are supposed to face.
3. Do practice to kill the tiger if you have to kill the mouse.
4.   If you tell a lie that can´t match anyhow.
5.  Misery makes the strong person.
6. Tolerance is the greatest asset of human being. If you tolerate, you won´t be small.
7. Go inside being a needle and come out being a share.

When I was in the French Foreign Legion camp, my name was changed to Gogal Bishal. I entered into the French Foreign Legion Paris camp on 6th April. On 10th April, we were taken including me from Paris to AUBAGNE. On 17th April, my decision has been made & I wasn’t selected.  I am very keen on being the French Legionnaire & I tried for it very hard as well. I thought I performed well as well while I was in the legionnaire camp. Even if I gave my bones & flesh, I could not be the French legionnaire. I lost my mind for couple of days & I came up with the idea of requesting for second chance. So, I am wholeheartedly requesting for the second chance.
