Tell me about yourself or introduce yourself? My Name is Saphal Chamling. I am a very hardworking, determined, dedicated & honest person.
What’s your strength & weakness? I am the team player which is my strength. Sometimes, people try to take advantage of my honesty & it’s my weakness because I am a very honest person.
Why do you want to be the legionnaire?

I have Three reasons for this.

First reason is that I am really into sports & it’s a sporty job.

Second reason is that I like adventurous kind of job & it’s an adventurous job.

Third reason is that once I get in, I will no longer worry about my future & career.

4. If you become the legionnaire, which regiment would like to go?

Well, honestly speaking, I am focusing on becoming the legionnaire now. It’s too early for me to choose the regiments now. After becoming the legionnaire, I’ll choose my regiment during my training period which will be suitable for me.

5. If you don’t become the legionnaire, what will you do?

I am here to be the legionnaire. So, I haven’t thought in that way because I have given my bones & flesh for it. If in case, I will not be the legionnaire, I’ll try to find the way. But one thing I know is that, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

The Kirat Dynasty

Nepal's very first recorded or discovered history began with the Kiratis, who arrived in the 7th or 8th century BCE from the east to the Kathmandu valley (now the capital of Nepal). Little is known about them, other than their deftness as sheep farmers and great fondness for carrying long knives. The Kirats ruled for about 1225 years (800 BCE-300 CE), their reign had a total of 29 kings during that time. Their first and best-remembered king was Yalambar, who is referenced in the epic Mahabharata. In the chronicle of Bansawali William Kirk Patrick mentions that the Kirat rule existed from about 900 BCE to 300 CE. During this long period altogether 29 Kirat Kings ruled over the country.
