A Journey to be the French Legionnaire

Eiffel Tower

Circumstances matter a lot in our lives. If I am happy whatever with me, I don´t have to search for another option but if I am not happy, I have to. Success is not in my hands. For that I have to face different examinations no matter I get or not. It is my compulsion not my choice.

In search of success, I went to France to be the Foreign Legion Army. I took a cab from Charles de Gaulle airport to get Fort de Nogent foreign army base camp in Paris paying seventy Euros. I spent around 15 days there. Passing physical tests and medical tests, we all 23 potential recruits were taken to another camp Avon for the final selection by train. The train took three and half hours to get Avon. We got on the train and the train took three and half hours to get Avon.  I also got through all the tests there. Most importantly, the interview I had faced there was so irritating. Every potential candidate has to face two very long interviews there namely Psycho interview and Gestapo interview.  My Psycho interview was taken for more than two hours and my Gestapo interview was taken more than 6 hours which were very tiring.

Besides interviews and tests, we had to do some works every day inside and outside the camp. Specially, we had to do cleaning in the kitchen under the supervision of the corporal chefs which was very frightening. The skin and nails of my hands were almost spoiled by the hot water. When the bell rang we had to assemble together in front of the main building of the camp where they chose us to take work or tests. During that time, they even took us to another camp in Marseille where we spent almost 3 days. It was an hour away from Avon camp by cab. The camp was on the coast of a beautiful sea. The scene was very mesmerizing there. We had to work there from 7 am to the 9 pm. One corporal chef was very mean but another corporal chef was very cool. I spent 9 days in Avon and Marseilles.

In this way I spent almost twenty four days in France. Even if I was failure, I learnt many things for my life. I made many good friends there from different countries. They are still in touch with me and will remain forever. I have faced several failures in my life so far. So, I know how to stand from such failures. But it doesn´t mean that didn´t make me upset. I think the only true failure is when you stop trying. That was just an event; I have still lots more events to attend ahead.

Yep, I Got Promoted Today!

Yep, I Got Promoted Today! Do no harm, take no shit हो। I won’t let down guys. T...

The Kirat Dynasty

Nepal's very first recorded or discovered history began with the Kiratis, who arrived in the 7th or 8th century BCE from the east to the Kathmandu valley (now the capital of Nepal). Little is known about them, other than their deftness as sheep farmers and great fondness for carrying long knives. The Kirats ruled for about 1225 years (800 BCE-300 CE), their reign had a total of 29 kings during that time. Their first and best-remembered king was Yalambar, who is referenced in the epic Mahabharata. In the chronicle of Bansawali William Kirk Patrick mentions that the Kirat rule existed from about 900 BCE to 300 CE. During this long period altogether 29 Kirat Kings ruled over the country. The 29 Kirat Kings were; 1. Yellung Hang or Yalambar 2. Pari Hang 3. Skandhar Hang 4. Balamba Hang 5. Hriti Hang 6. Humati Hang 7. Jitedasti Hang 8. Galinja Hang 9. Oysgja Hang 10. Suyarma Hang 11.
