Living In Another Country

Sarang Almost one year back, we all family members assembled together for a cause. It had been for a long time since we didn´t meet each other since we dispersed in different countries in search of living lives. After the completion of that cause, everyone started to go back to their own destinations. In the course of leaving, the turn of my brother in law has come. My brother in law is in abroad for his own reason but my sister lives with us in Dharan. We have only one sister and we have two cute nephews from them. My younger nephew was around 3 years at that time but he used to speak very well including difficult words. When his father came home, he always used to be with him almost all the time. He used to like his father a lot. He wanted to do everything with his father. But the time has arrived to say goodbye to his father. He also knew that his father was leaving him. He started to cry babbling not to leave him. Even he insisted on going with him. When I saw the eyes of

The Day My Cry Had Been Paid Off

Even if we migrated from the village to Dharan, my village is still in my heart where I was born and spent my childhood. I completed my secondary level education from there. I enjoyed a lot during those days which I never felt in Dharan and Where I am now. I always miss my village. However, we migrated we still have our lands in the village because we haven´t sold that because of the love of the village. In life, so many things are happening every single day whereas we remember some of them which touch our hearts and we forget the rest of them. As our lives, every house has its own story. I have one from my childhood. I think I was in class four. My father was sick at that time. We had spent a lot of money for his treatment. There was no more money left over. So, we had to sell our pair of oxen for his further treatment. In those days, I used to go for cattle rearing. I had the deep connection with them because I treated them as my family members.  For this reason, I wa

An Unheard Story

No matter how your country and family are they are always in your hearts. If anyone has to leave his country and family that can be the most heartbreaking moment of his life. But if anyone has to go abroad to fulfill his dream which must be the compulsion, not the choice.  I have a similar story here which embodies how much a mother misses her son in absence of her son. This is a real story told to me by my friend. I think this is only a representing story of our society but there are so many identical untold stories in every house of our country where every mother misses her son similarly because her sons have to go abroad to sell their sweats in search of pursuing their dreams. Around 20,000 Nepalese immigrants live in Portugal and among them is Man. He is the only one son of his family with two sisters. His family used to live in a village of Taplejung but they are now in Jhapa. He came to Portugal around 5 years ago. Everyone comes here to have a resident card of Po

Timeless Love

One night, at dinner, I took my wife’s hand and told her that we needed to talk. I saw the pain in her eyes. All of a sudden, I had no idea how to talk, but I knew I had to tell her. So, I do not know how, but I told her that I wanted a divorce. Surprisingly, she was not upset and asked me why I would want that. We did not have a conversation, but she wept. She wanted to know if something was going on with me. In fact, it was our marriage, but I do not know what. I stopped loving her, and I had another one. Her name was Joan. Instead of loving my wife, I felt sorry for her. Since I felt guilty, the divorce agreement said that she would keep the house, 30 percent of our business, as well as the car. When she saw the agreement, she ditched it. Ten years of her life belonged to me, and then we became strangers. I felt sorry for her, for all of that time that is now gone. But, I could not change anything. I was in love with the other woman. And, then, my wife started screami

Joy Of Becoming Uncle

24 July 2018 Even if there are some differences between us, I can´t help writing some congratulatory words when I see the picture of our little angel. She looks so adorable when I see the picture of her. It´s so wonderful to welcome our little Pari to our family as a new member. I wish God would shower all the blessings upon her and she would kiss all the summits of success in her future. Many many congratulations both of you including us. It´s a happy moment for everybody. Let´s have a party! On top of that, we all three brothers have become her uncle officially from today onwards.

Being In Her Periods

Being in periods is the worst thing that can happen to a girl. If she says I hate being a girl, it means her periods are on. As a guy please doesn’t abuse her because she isn’t well on those days, most girls have problems, cramps, and pain. 90% of them cry and yes of course 100% of them have mood swings. You can´t do anything to stop that pain but just try to help her with her mood. You can try to make her feel comfortable or assist her if she needs help.  This is a part of life and every girl has to go through this. Be proud girls that in spite of so much pain in your life, your life doesn’t stop. Be strong. This also says that if you can be strong enough to bear such a pain for 4-5 days every month, it shouldn´t be much difficult for you to handle yourself post-breakup. Maybe that guy wasn´t meant for you. But ladies you have to be also changed. Don´t make your periods as sympathy. Make it your strength. Don´t be shy to speak about this.

The World´s Exemplary President

Hats off to Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, president of Croatia. She attended every Croatia match at the world cup, traveled in economy class and sat with the fans in the stadium. She refused to take any pays for her days not at work. She treats her people like her own children which we saw in the picture where she is wiping the tears of  Luka Modric the captain of Croatia with her own hands. Now that´s leadership. We don´t need more words and sentences to explain about her. I can only say that every president and leader of the world needs to follow her to learn what they mean to be for their people. Once again hats off to Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, president of Croatia.
