 The phoenix must burn to emerge. त्यस्तै एउटा उदाहरण हुन्, सन्तोष कुमार राई।। उहाँ सोलुखुम्बुको हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँको सानैदेखि लाहुरे बन्ने सपना राख्नुभएको रहेछ। त्यसको लागि उनले सिंगापुर पुलिस र ईण्डियन आर्मी दुवैमा ट्राई गर्नु भएछ। यधपी, उहाँ त्यसमा सफल हुन सक्नु भएन रहेछ। त्यसपछि, उनी आफ्नो भविष्य खोज्ने क्रममा कोरियन भाषा पढेर परिक्षा पनि दिनु भएछ। त्यसमा पनि असफल हुनु भएछ। यसरी असफलताहरुको शृंखला सामना गर्दै जाने क्रममा अमेरिकाको डिभी लट्री भर्नु भएछ। त्यसमा भने उहाँ सफल हुनु भएछ।  डिभी लट्री परेसँगै उहाँ अमेरिका उड्नु भएछ। तर सानोमा देखेको सपनालाई त कहाँ छोड्न सकिन्छ र, हैन। आफ्नो सपोर्टिभ जिवनसंगिनी सविता चाम्लिङ्गको मोटिभेसनसँगै, उहाँले युएस आर्मीमा ट्राई गर्नु भएछ। त्यसमा पनि उहाँ सफल हुनु भएछ। आज उहाँ युएस आर्मी भएर, आफ्नो सपना जिईरहनु भएको छ। त्यसैले, प्रयास गर्नेको कहिल्यै हार हुँदैन है साथिहरु। वस प्रयास चाहिँ गरिरहनु पर्यो। यो कुरा युएस आर्मी सन्तोष कुमार  राईवाट पनि प्रमाणित हुन्छ। Don’t let your failures define you, let them teach you.

What Is The Army?  Army is a group of organized military force trained for war, especially on land.

  Why would you like to be the legionnaire?  It’s a very prestigious & adventurous job.  I am really into sports & physical fitness & it’s a sporty kind of job.  Once I get in the French foreign legionnaire, I don’t have to think about my future.  If I become the legionnaire, I can travel different parts of the world during training & deployments. I can work with different nationalities from all around the world.

  Tell me About Yourself? Well, I am Saphal Chamling. I am running 30 now. I am from Nepal. If I have to describe me in a sentence, I'd say l am a very hardworking & honest person.

What's your strength &  weakness? I consider myself as a very hardworking, determined, dedicated & honest person. I would say these qualities of mine are my strength. On the other hand, I occasionally feel difficulty saying ‘NO’ to people being an honest person which I consider my weakness.

When I was in the French Foreign Legion camp, my name was changed to Gogal Bishal. I entered into the French Foreign Legion Paris camp on 6th April. On 10th April, we were taken including me from Paris to AUBAGNE. On 17th April, my decision has been made & I wasn’t selected.  I am very keen on being the French Legionnaire & I tried for it very hard as well. I thought I performed well as well while I was in the legionnaire camp. Even if I gave my bones & flesh, I could not be the French legionnaire. I lost my mind for couple of days & I came up with the idea of requesting for second chance. So, I am wholeheartedly requesting for the second chance.
