Mahato ( Nepali :  उपेन्द्र महतो ) is a businessman of Nepali origin living in  Russia , where he is the president of the Russia-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is the Honorary consul General of Nepal in the Republic of  Belarus .   He was president of Non Resident Nepalese Association, International coordination council (NRNA, ICC). Upendra Mahato was awarded the title 'Manager of the Year-2007' in Russia, organised by Free Economic Society of Russia and International Academy of Management under the support of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation since 1997. Mahato is the first foreign national to receive this Russian award. He is the first Nepali to gain a Doctor of Science degree. He got his Ph. D and D.SC. from International Academy of Information Technology,  Minsk , Belarus. He worked in multinational business before 1992 A.D. and in social work before.

Yashok is small in size yet it is very beautiful. It is in the west of Panchthar district. It is the second famous place after Phidim in Panchthar.  Recently, it was connected with roads. If you wanna go Yashok, there are 4 ways to get; one from Ranke, another from Phidim, next one from Mauwa and last one from Tehrathum. There are two internationally renown holly places namly Kusayak and Kumayak. It is considered as one of the sacred places in Nepal as Pathivara Mandir in Taplejung. It is also the center of many vdcs. It is also famous for Trishala Mela. It happens in the interval of every three years periods for three days. At this time, many progarams are organized. People not only come here from inside Nepal but also people come from all over the world at that time and they especially, worship Kusayak and Kumabayak at that time. In short,  it is the landmark of Panchthar. People love its eternal untamed beauty and we love its prosperity. Up with...

This picture was taken when I was small hiring a photographer by my mother. It reminds me my childhood and my mother. I would like to thank my mother so much. They are my grandfather and grandmother. They are known as Mukhiya and Mukheni in our village. My grandfather's name is Kul  Bdr. Rai and my grandmother's name is Ruplakshi Rai.  It is with my sisters and vanjis in Prabina sister's house in Bajogara, Dharan on the occasion of Soltini's marriage ceremony.   There is me between my father and mother in my village.My mother name is Jag Maya Rai and my father's name is Laxmi Prasad Rai. There is a huge mango tree  behind us and you can see its flowers. It reminds me my mother a lot.  He is my father. He is so cool and handsome. यो देखिएको गाउँ खाल्डे हो। यो याशोक  गाबिसको वडा न ९ मा पर्छ। यो गाउँमा बिशेष गरि केही छेत्रीहरू बसेपनी यहाँ चाम्लिङ  राइहरूको बहुल्याता रहेको छ। यो पारी अङ्नाबाट खिचिएको तस्बिर  हो। यहाँका मनिसहरू धेरै शिक्षित छन्। यहाँ बिशेष गरेर धान, मकै, गहु,कोदो, बदाम् र जुन्यालो रम्रोसँग  उत्पादन हुने गर्दछ। अझ यसलाई याशोकको   अन्नको भन्डार पनि भनिन्छ। यो तस्बिरमा देखिएको गाडीको  बाटो केही बर्ष अगाडि बनाइएको  हो। हाम्रो गाउँ खाल्डे भएको हुनाले हमिलाइ वर परको मानिसहरूले खल्डेलि भनेर बोलाउछन्। यसमा हामीलाई गर्ब लाग्दछ। हामी संसारको जहाँ जहाँ भए पनि हामी  जन्मेको हुर्केको गाउलाई धेरै माया गर्छौ।
